The tablet is called the “Arrows Tab” and the specs have revealed it to be a 10.1” tablet with a resolution of 1280×800 while running on Android’s Honeycomb 3.1. It will also feature a 1GHz dual-core TI-OMAP processor under the hood with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There will also be a 5MP rear-facing camera and a 1.3MP front-facing camera along with a 1-seg TV tuner, and let’s not forget its selling point – waterproof, or so it has been claimed.
No word on availability or pricing, or actually how waterproof the device (few drops of water? Splashes? Scuba diving depths?), but it is expected to see a launch on Japan’s NTT DoCoMo network in September.
