Solar powered chargers rarely look good, although to be fair a good looking design for a solar powered charger was probably not at the top of the list, but that does not seem to be the case with the Dunhill Solar Charger (QGL079).
You’re probably wondering what has a fashion brand like Dunhill have to do with solar chargers? To be fair we can’t say for sure why they’re making solar powered chargers either, perhaps to make themselves look good by producing a “green” product? Either way it’s good news for those who have been meaning to go green but want to look good while doing so.
Unfortunately not much is known about the tech specs of the Solar Charger apart from what it says on its website which is that it will be able to provide charging for up to 30 hours for mobile phones and MP3 players. It will also be able to recharge itself via its solar panels or alternatively it could be charged via your computer from its USB port. It even comes with an embossed leather case.
No word on availability or pricing although just based on brand name alone, we don’t expect the Dunhill Solar Charger to come cheap but I guess we will have to wait and see.
