DROID Bionic promo materials arrive – phone almost here?

Verizon doesn’t exactly have the best track record when it comes to releasing 4G phones on time (HTC Thunderbolt anyone?) and it looks like the Motorola Droid Bionic isn’t doing anything to help clear the carrier’s name. But we’ve got some good news for you anxious folk waiting for the phone’s arrival – promo materials for the phone have started arriving (T-shirts spotted by Android Central and promoo videos spotted by Phandroid) so it looks like the phone is almost upon us.

Previously the phone was rumored to have an early September release date, and with all the promo materials ready, it’s very likely it’ll arrive on time. But anything could happen, so keep those fingers crossed. After all the hype built up for the phone, let’s hope it isn’t a letdown when it’s finally released. How many will be picking up this phone when it goes on sale?
