The products in question are the Galaxy S, S II and Ace, which the judge ruling that said smartphones violated a patent held by Apple which described a method for “recording a flag in connection with multiple screen taps,” and another for “a method of scrolling”. This is a pretty heavy blow against Samsung as their Samsung Galaxy S II Android smartphone is extremely popular, and is considered by many to be THE Android smartphone at the moment.
The ban is expected to take effect come 13th of October and no word when Samsung plans to appeal against this injunction, but for now it appears that Apple has scored yet another victory against Samsung.
