Justin Jensen at Cinetics realized that he had some beef with moving a video camera alongside its subject without resulting in any bumps, and unless one had professional equipment, that would be extremely hard to achieve. Well, with necessity being the mother of all invention, he decided to come up with CineSkates that will go along with his GorillaPod Focus.
These aren’t just any Neanderthal invention, but rather, these extremely smooth wheels require but a simple push or pull before you are able to achieve that seamless tracking shot that you have always dreamed of. Justin, of course, will need money to get this idea up and moving, and decided to head for the most obvious solution – that is, Kickstarter, hoping for the generosity of the average man on the street to have enough faith in his project and donate accordingly.
Guess this will appeal mostly to GorillaPod Focus owners who wanted to do much more than they expected, and Justin needn’t worry anyways – with 50 more days to go, he already surpassed his $20,000 goal by $33,806 thanks to 171 backers (as at press time, of course).
