Folks who don’t want to spend precious bandwidth and downloading the update for their Mac computers to OS X Lion – we’ve got some great news for you. The option to purchase a USB thumb drive with Lion OS X is available now. The drawback is you’ll have to spend more than double the amount than if you were to download it, but the good thing is that it’ll save you some precious time just in case you don’t have a good internet connection to download the update. Not to mention if something goes wrong with the download halfway, you won’t have to start over again.
Take note though – if you install OS X Lion with the drive, you won’t be able to reinstall it by downloading it in the future, you will have to use the drive again, so don’t lose it. The Apple OS X Lion USB thumb drives can be purchased for $69 from the online Apple Store (1-3 shipping days) and will also be available in physical stores in the future.
