Wall-E hack recognizes voices, tracks objects and snaps photos
I remember coming across Wall-E in the cinema a few years ago, boy was that robot cute or what! This little critter with a pet cockroach for a friend certainly tugged at the heartstrings, especially when he fell head over wheels with Eve. DJ Sures was inspired by this little robot that could, making sure his plastic Wall-E toy was given a new lease of life by incorporating an EZ-B Bluetooth Robot controller alongside EZ-builder software that will control all software functions.
Wall-E will sport 5 servos inside, in addition to a 2.4 GHz wireless camera nicked off from eBay. Cute is as cute does, and DJ Sures certainly did a bang up job with this project, and we can’t wait to see what other kind of machinations he has up his sleeves in the future. You can always check out a video of the hacked Wall-E after the jump.
