Jabra Drive Bluetooth speakerphone

Jabra has just announced a spanking new Bluetooth speakerphone for the masses known as the Drive. That’s really simple, no? Capable of hooking up to a couple of devices simultaneously, it requires no form of setup – and it is smart enough to speak out its own status messages for your attention. Apart from that, it will also stream audio from a GPS device or smartphone, while doubling up as a hands-free phone speaker/microphone combination.

With the Jabra Drive, you will be able to enjoy up to 20 hours of talk time and 30 days of standby, although we are quite sure that real world usage is going to be less than that, especially more so if you tend to have plenty of calls and text messages to attend to each day.
The Jabra Drive needs to be clipped to your vehicle’s visor, where it will be paired to your smartphone or GPS device – or simultaneously, if you so desire.

Not only that, adjusting the volume is a snap thanks to large volume buttons located on the speaker, and the unit itself features a voice guidance system which announces battery and connectivity status.
Expect the Jabra Drive speakerphone to retail for $60 when it arrives later this July in the US – folks living outside of the US can already get hold of it.
