The iRiver Vanilla will sport a 3.5” WVGA LCD display which is smaller than what most smartphones do have these days, while the 600MHz/800MHz CPU isn’t exactly a modern speed demon, alongside Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS navigation and DMB support to clearly place this in the mid-range segment.
As for the iRiver TAB, this model will take on the 7″ form factor alongside 3G connectivity, DMB support, a 5-megapixel camera, Bluetooth connectivity and 16GB of internal memory – too bad it too, runs on Android 2.2 Froyo. Hopefully a software update will come soon. No idea on pricing, but it seems that they will be released sooner rather than later.
