If perhaps you’re not as geeky and don’t really care if your USB flash drive can transfer at USB 3.0 speeds, then perhaps these new USB flash drives by Japan’s I-O Data might be something worth considering, and for the ladies, perhaps you may even find a way to accessorize with these new colorful USB sticks.
Like I mentioned earlier, there’s really nothing mind blowing about these USB sticks apart from their bright and eye-catching colors, and also the way that they could potentially clip to your bags or shirt pockets. Encased in a silicone rubber, they come in the colors of Aquamarine Blue, Spring Green, Pine Yellow, Flower Pink, Warm White and Cool Black. They also come in sizes of 4GB, 8GB and 16GB.
Measuring at 12.3 x 34.7 x 5.6 mm, they are reported to weigh 5 grams and they will be available come August. Unfortunately for USB flash drives that don’t seem to offer much, and for also rather small storage capacities, they do seem to be priced rather high about at $22.5 (4GB0, $34 (8GB) and $60.5 (16GB).
