AT&T LTE-enabled USBConnect Momentum 4G and Mobile Hotspot Elevate 4G announced

AT&T has just announced the LTE-enabled USBConnect Momentum 4G and Mobile Hotspot Elevate 4G, so that would mean a national rollout of the network is clearly in tow. To summarize, folks living in areas such as Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio will be able to enjoy home broadband-like speeds on non-4G devices, and wherever the LTE network is not available, such devices will switch to HSPA+ or even 3G just to make sure your connection is maintained.

The USB Connect Momentum 4G will plug into any USB port, where it will establish a connection to AT&T’s 4G (HSPA+ or LTE) and 3G (EDGE/GPRS) networks. Just to boost up its capacity, you can always throw in a microSD memory card of your choice. There is also integrated GPS navigation so that you need not get lost wherever you go. 

As for the Mobile Hotspot Elevate 4G, it can hook up to five Wi-Fi enabled devices simultaneously, letting them share the LTE network (or the HSPA+ and 3G when necessary) without blinking. A 1.7″ color LCD display is there for you to check out the vital statistics including signal strength, data usage and battery status.

The Momentum 4G USB and Elevate 4G will retail for $50 and $70, respectively, after a $50 mail-in rebate if you are interested.
