Speck knows this, and has hence released their latest innovative, protective hard-shell case for the iPad 2 known as the HandyShell.
This multi-functional peripheral sports a flip-out thumb ring handle which lets you hold your iPad 2 securely without batting an eyelid using just a single handed grip. As for its versatile handle, it will also double up as a stand for portrait or landscape viewing, and you can alternatively opt to use it as a carry handle, or be more creative by hanging it on a wall.
