One of the latest devices that we have stumbled upon would be the Sony S2 tablet that sports a couple of displays, not to mention running on the Android operating system. Having picked up the collective nod of approval from the FCC, which means it is very near a US release.
Having won approval for GSM 850 and 1900 bands, in addition to WCDMA bands II and V, they will correspond to AT&T’s network Stateside, so you can more or less make an educated guess on which mobile carrier the S2 will appear on way before it actually makes its way to the market.
We have heard that the Sony S2 will run on the Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system which has been specially configured to work with tablet devices. Each display on the S2 measures 5.5″ at 1024 x 480 resolution, working with a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and camera to boot.
