Motorola DROID 3 specifications leaked online
The tap over at Motorola seems to fail at shutting properly – leak after leak comes out, and the latest would concern the Motorola DROID 3. The Verizon Wireless document that you see here outlines the entire range of the DROID 3’s specifications, comparing it to other Android-powered devices from Motorola such as the DROID 2 Global and DROID X2. From said document, we do know that the DROID 3 will pack in a 4″ aHD display (540 x 960 resolution), a dual-core 1GHz TI OMAP 4430 processor, an 8-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and 1080p video capture, a front-facing camera, 16GB of internal memory, mobile hotspot capability that can support up to five devices, GSM capabilities for overseas action, an Android 2.3 Gingerbread right out of the box, so you need not pant after a software update.
No pre-installed microSD memory card in there, but at least there are pre-loaded apps such as the VZ Navigator, Blockbuster, and V CAST Music and Video. Apart from that, the leak also revealed that the DROID 2 Global will be receiving the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update “soon after DROID 3 launch.” No idea on how much it will cost, and we are looking at $199.99 with a 2-year contract – how about you?
