JVC Introduces XX Branded Headphones To Japan
Better known as the Xtreme Xplosives (XX) Headphones series in North America and introduced at CES earlier this year, JVC is looking to introduce the series to Japan as well by ushering in several new models – the HA-M5X, HA-S4X as well as the in-ear HA-FX3X and HA-FX1X and their target market would be the youth crowd thanks to their “street” designs which seems to resemble the Beats by Dr Dre Monster headphone series, what with the black in-ear phones and distinctive red cable (much like how iPods used to be easily identified by their white earbuds and white cables).
The headphones HA-M5X and HA-S4X comes with a pair of 50mm driver units and 40mm driver units respectively and they both comes with a 32Ω Impedance and with an output of 105dB/1mW and 102dB/1mW respectively. The in-ear series feature the same specifications in terms of driver units respectively but instead come with 104dB/1mW output and a 16Ω impedance. No word on how much they cost but we’re guessing that thanks to its design, consumers looking to get a set of headphones or in-ears will now have an alternative, in terms of design, to the Beats by Dr Dre Monster headphones series.
