If you were wondering what the iCloud logo is going to be like and you can’t wait until Monday, you have to look no further. The folks over at CNET checked out the location where Apple is hosting this year’s World Wide Developer’s Conference (WWDC) – Moscone West, San Francisco and spotted the signage being put up by the Cupertino company in preparation for the event which begins next Monday. The huge signage shows a Lion (for OS X Lion), a number 5 (for iOS 5) and an outline of a cloud (which is shaped like the MobileMe cloud logo) against a backdrop of shiny material which reminds me of a disc surface is the logo for none other than Apple’s upcoming cloud service, iCloud.
The company has already announced that these are the three products that they will be talking about at this year’s WWDC, though I’m pretty sure most of us are hoping for the annual iPhone refresh. With Apple being so good at keeping secrets, the verdict is still in the air though most reports are pointing towards a no for a new iPhone at the event. I’m sure time will tell us soon enough. Stay tuned for more coverage of the WWDC next week.
