Google improves mobile search

In recent years, as more and more people are relying on their mobile devices instead of desktops to access the internet, search engines have been working hard to accommodate smaller web browsers and have been including features to improve the overall mobile experience. Bing is a good example of this, and Google has recently stepped up its game as well.

Now when you access the mobile Google homepage from your mobile phone, you’ll be able to access Places straight away from the bottom of the webpage. Another improvement is the ability to “build” up searches to look for what you want with minimal keystrokes on your mobile device. Pretty cool feature, especially for those of you who aren’t fans of typing with your touchscreen keyboard. Less presses to do the same job.
