If you’re ever worried about having any skin problems, but don’t want to spend a fortune going to the dermatologist, you’re in luck! You know how they say there’s an app for everything? Well now there’s an app that can help you with the diagnosis of skin diseases. Called DermoMap HD, the app features about a 100 of the most common dermatological diseases with over 300 HD photos, multiple images of each disease and a built-in etymological dictionary with more than 100 terms to help users understand and recognize the disease they are looking at.
While it is targeted at GPs, students, health personnel and curious patients – the app has been designed in such a way that it is clear and understandable for both medical and non-medical audience. With periodic updates to make sure you stay up to date, DermoMap is pretty much all you need to help you rectify any skin problems you encounter.
Sounds like an interesting app, which should also appeal to folks who are too shy to seek the advice/help of an expert concerning skin problems. DermoMap HD is available now from the Apple App Store for $7.99. Video demo:
