Android 3.1 Honeycomb runs into problems, release delayed
If you are hopping up and down excitedly, wondering just when Android 3.1 Honeycomb will be arriving for your precious new tablet, it might be prudent to take a time out at the moment. After all, it seems that Eldar Murtazin, the Russian guru for many accurate predictions in the past due to his uncanny ability to sniff out rumors and leaks, has mentioned that Google will delay the launch of Android 3.1 Honeycomb for tablets simply because it is not quite ready yet for prime time, with unspecified issues required to get addressed.
Basically, this means tablets that are meant to be accompanied by Android 3.1 Honeycomb such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 8.9 has been delayed, so hold your horses. On the bright side, at least some patience will see you end up with a more stable operating system build – won’t that be a better user experience in the end?
Hopefully Google comes forward to deliver their official stance on the rumor.
