Any update is a good update, right? As long as it works fine and dandy – otherwise, it would be better off fixed before being rolled out. We have word that the upcoming Windows Phone 7 Mango update has quite the bunch of goodies in store for you, including Facebook Chat integration for you to keep up with your buddies in real time, never mind that you are no longer tethered to your desk or notebook, waiting over your Facebook page in a browser to receive a message. To sweeten the deal, Facebook Chat integration with Windows Live Messenger is also implemented for a happy marriage (we hope).
Not only that, Microsoft also intends to fulfill their promise of Office 365 support on the Windows Phone platform accompanied by Skydrive and Sharepoint integration. As for those who can’t get enough of gaming even when they are away from their home consoles, the Games/Xbox Hub will receive an overhaul that will include several Sync options under “Settings” page.
In addition, you can also create groups of contacts and either text or email the group under Group Messaging, with Lockscreen showing the “Now Playing” item for added convenience at a glance. All fired up for the update already?
