Viewsonic ViewPad 7x offers 7″ of Honeycomb goodness

HTC has their HTC Flyer that is still shrouded in mystery where the operating system is concerned, so never mind about that 7″ tablet when you have the Viewsonic ViewPad 7x that will arrive later this month on May 31st at Computex in Taipei, Taiwan. Word on the street has it that this new Android-powered tablet will be the new flagship model, taking over the ViewPad 7, although it won’t function as a replacement.

Forget about Google Android 2.3.3, as it will be the first 7″ Honeycomb-powered tablet to hit the market. The operating system isn’t the only thing up to speed, as the ViewSonic ViewPad 7x will also ship with a Nvidia Tegra 2 chip that boasts of dual cores, while a camera behind helps you capture decent looking images with enough light, while the front-facing camera does its fair bit of video calls as and when necessary. 

Connections? No problems, as you have HSPA+ connectivity thrown into the mix, while it tips the scales at 380 grams in a funky back design, alongside DLNA and HDMI support.
