Images of Sony’s upcoming NEX C3 camera were leaked online a couple of weeks ago, with nary a word from the electronics manufacturer about the camera’s details or upcoming availability. Today there’s still no official announcement from Sony, but the user manual for the camera leaked onto the Sony Czech website earlier today, though it was taken down not too long after that.
The availability of such materials seems to signify that an official announcement or launch could be just around the corner. According to the folks who managed to have a gander at the manual, the Sony NEX C3 will have a control layout similar to the NEX 5 and features some new filters such as Toy Camera and another one called Retro Photo. Previously revealed specs include: a 16.2 megapixel sensor and support for 720p HD video recording. Keep your eyes peeled for an official announcement soon.
