The upcoming Patch Tuesday release comes after 17 bulletins which Microsoft issued in April, and Microsoft is also touted to alter their Exploitability Index. For the uninitiated, the Exploitability Index is a guide that provides relevant information to customers on just how likely a vulnerability is of being exploited.
Microsoft has mentioned that they will be publishing a couple of Exploitability Index ratings per vulnerability, with one of them targeting the most recent platform, while the other functions as an aggregate rating for all older versions of the software to make it easier for one to determine their risk levels at a glance.
