As consumers get used to having good looking and entertainment-capable laptops at home, they are also demanding consumer-friendly design and features at work. That’s precisely what HP aims to offer with the Probook 5330m. Using its Forge design philosophy, HP has built a business computer that looks good. HP has also added Beats audio technology so that workers can enjoy the latest hit conference call. However, underneath the aluminum and the backlit keyboard, IT managers will find features that they require to manage a fleet of computers: Intel VPro chipset for remote management, fingerprint reader for extra security etc…
The Probook 5330m comes with a Core i3 ot Core i5 processor, 4GB or more of memory and 500GB or more of storage. The GOBI CDMA/GSM 3G wireless connection is optional. On the wireless front, HP has come up with a very interesting pay as you go solution called HP Datapass. Basically, Probook users can buy bandwidth directly from HP, without having to subscribe to a contract. Typically, this would be expensed like a meal or something like that, making everyone’s life relatively easy. This is a great, because the last thing that most people (and companies) want is to sign yet another wireless contract. Pricing for the wireless bandwidth starts at $5, and the Probook 5330m starts at $799.
