Anyhow, what sets F-Browser apart from other browsers such as Skyfire is that instead of sending Flash videos to an external server for conversion, F-Browser uses the iPhone to download and convert Flash videos into an iOS-friendly format with the browser itself. This allows users to replay previously converted videos they’ve watched on their phone without having to load it up again.
Retina Software hopes “to see F-Browser as the second browser on every iPhone. An iPad version is scheduled for release very soon.” But judging by the six 1 star ratings the app has received on its iTunes page, it doesn’t look too promising at the moment. Head over to the App Store if you’d like to check out F-Browser. It is available now for $1.99.
