When the 6th generation iPod Nano was released last year, it was met with mixed reception. Some people were happy with the new, tiny form factor while others mourned the loss of the camera. Well, if the recent rumors turn out to be true, Apple could have been listening to their customers. An image of what is claimed to be the upcoming iPod Nano has surfaced online recently, showing what appears to be a camera on the back of a 6th generation iPod Nano with a odd looking paint job.
First up, the image came from a website that has leaked each of the previous six generations of iPod Nanos, so they do have some reliable sources. But on the other hand, the camera lens looks nothing like a camera lens and more like a nut instead (unless Apple are using some sort of special camera). The clip for the iPod Nano has also been removed – which doesn’t make sense especially for a device that small. For all we know, the photograph could be of a prototype 6th generation iPod Nano that had the camera feature removed in the final version.
Well until Apple officially reveals the device we won’t know for sure. What do you think? Were you one of the people who were upset that the latest iPod Nano didn’t have a camera anymore?
