Sylvania Magni Tablet is easy on the pockets
By easy on the pockets, we mean it is pretty affordable – considering this 10″ tablet device retails for all of $199.99, which is a whole lot more affordable than what other tablets the same size cost. This, of course, will be a classic case of getting what you pay for, where the display is a sorry 800 x 480 pixels, which is the equivalent of some 3.7″ smartphone screens out there in the market. Apart from that, the 1GHz ARM 11 processor isn’t the latest in the market, while 256MB RAM and 2GB of internal memory sound woefully inadequate in this day and age. Wi-Fi connectivity, a couple of USB ports, a 1.3-megapixel camera, a headphone jack and HDMI output round off the list of specifications. At least the operating system is up to date (sort of) with Android 2.2 Froyo running off a 1400mAh battery. What are you going to do with a budget Android-powered tablet like this?
