If you’re looking for a pure Google phone with a 4G connection, you don’t really have many phones to choose from. It’s either the T-Mobile G2, the upcoming T-Mobile G2x or the Nexus S 4G on Sprint. Since the G2 is already outdated by now, and the G2x is still awhile away, the Nexus S 4G is your best bet if you want something soon. Stock Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), a Super AMOLED display and 4G WiMAX capabilities – it can’t get much better than this. Unfortunately, we still don’t have an exact date to when this phone will arrive, but Best Buy has just put the phone up on their site for pre-order, so hopefully it won’t be too far away. The Nexus S 4G will set you back $99.99 with a 2-year contract from Sprint or $529.99 off contract. Head here if you’d like to pre-order the phone, and check out our review of the Nexus S if you haven’t already.
