Sharp Free-Style AQUOS LC-20FEI Series portable TV has Wi-Fi connectivity

Sharp has just announced their latest Free-Style AQUOS LC-20FEI Series of portable TV that comes with Wi-Fi connectivity to boot, but of course, this does seem to be a Japan-only device at the moment (isn’t that the case with most of the other models of the same kind?) Just what does the Free-Style AQUOS LC-20FEI Series achieve in its form of existence? This is a 20-inch HD TV that will sport a 1366 × 768 resolution, complete with LED backlight capability.

Of course, having a 400,000:1 contrast ratio will work favorably for your eyes as well, since you will most probably be using this on your daily commute, and as we all know, watching TV outside from the comfort of your living room tends to happen in a surrounding that is a whole lot brighter than what you’re used to. Unless, you happen to sneak this into the loo while you take a dump just to enjoy short snippets of news bits and a particular drama series.

Don’t expect too much from the audio department though, as this puppy comes with just 2W speakers – best to get a pair of headphones to go along with it if you want to enjoy better quality audio. What we’re stoked with would be the Wi-Fi connectivity, letting you live a cable-free life.

There is also a USB HDD recording feature for its Wireless TV Tuner, while DLNA support allows you to access, store and watch content that are located on your home network. Out in Japan in June, it will come in black, white and pink colors.
