When the Nexus S went on sale in December last year, one of the issues we mentioned in our review about the Nexus S was the lack of 4G connectivity. Hopefully this 4G/CDMA version on Sprint’s will give the phone the 4G speeds it deserves.
The Nexus S 4G is pretty much the same phone as the 3G version that was released last year, but it packs a different radio to connect to Sprint’s CDMA/4G WiMAX network. Other than that, the specs remain the same: 4″ Super AMOLED display, 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor, 512 MB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and of course, stock Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). The Nexus S 4G will go on sale for $199.99 with a 2-year contract from Sprint.
