Since Amazon hasn’t got any experience in making smartphones, but have created a tablet device before (the Kindle), it’s not surprising if they come up with an Android tablet. Like Barnes & Noble who did pretty well with their NOOKcolor Android tablets, Amazon stands a chance to do well in the business as well, launching an Android tablet with all their Amazon apps preloaded.
And now, with the latest reports of Engadget’s founder, Peter Rojas quoted as saying: “It’s something of an open secret that Amazon is working on an Android tablet and I am 99 percent certain they are having Samsung build one for them.” all these speculations start to make more sense. While it has yet to be officially announced, if rumors turn out to be true, we hear something soon enough. Stay tuned for more details.
