According to Karin, she misplaced her Nokia 3110 Classic a year ago, and could not be bothered to do anything about the situation (and by that, we mean turning the house upside down to find it, or even get a replacement phone). Just last week, Karin’s daughter actually walked into the room and said, “Mum, I’ve just found your phone. In the flowerbed. Between the Tulips and the Narcissuses”.
Naturally, Karin was rather skeptical as to whether her handset would work, and her sister did insist for Karin to try it out, claiming that it “has to work because it’s a Nokia.” All it took was one full battery charge, and the Nokia 3110 Classic experienced a resurrection that was clearly surprising. No idea on how the phone actually survived one year out in the open, exposed to the elements and still managed to maintain its working capability. Anyone else have similar stories to share?
