Ready for one of the biggest gaming rumors of this week? According to NeoGAF, the above image was found on Ubisoft’s official Facebook page through an accidental posting. The image has since been removed, but come on. It’s practically a given now that the next game in the Assassin’s Creed series is going to be Revelations. Aside from the logo being posted, a flash file that had main character Altair’s name written in Arabic was also discovered.
Concrete details on Assassin’s Creed Revelations are unavailable at this time, but that just proves the power of the crowd. Nothing escapes the crowd’s eyes. Nothing.
Just like the accidental leak of EA’s Need for Speed: The Run trailer yesterday led EA to officially unveil the game today, Ubisoft’s going to have to tell us about the game soon. Maybe it’s waiting for E3, but whatever the case, we know a new Assassin’s Creed game is coming.
