iPad 2 vs Motorola Xoom
The Apple iPad 2 is certainly an object of desire for many people, and judging be the demand for the tablet, you can be sure that suits over at the fruity company are more than happy to see millions of units shipped – we’re talking of a minimum of 2.4 million iPad 2 tablets shipped to date. Digitimes claims that this figure has surpassed that of its predecessor, and with Apple tipped to take delivery of between 4 million and 4.3 million iPad 2 units each month between April and June, that would amount to a cool 12 million units plus for Q2 of this year. Just to get a rough idea, the XOOM has seen Motorola Mobility selling a mere 100,000 units since it was available for the past two months, according to Deutsche Bank analysts. That’s pretty sad, considering the iPad 2 moved at least 300,000 units in the first day of commercial existence alone. To find out whether to get the latter or not, read our Motorola XOOM review.
