The Cowon C2 portable media player takes on a cute form factor, where it does seem to resemble that of an oversized keyboard button, although the display maxes out at just 2.6″. Being a resistive touchscreen display that has a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, you will get TV-out with this puppy, accompanied by a microSD memory card slot, DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting), a USB port and a choice of either 4GB, 8GB or 16GB where internal memory is concerned. Expect the Cowon C2 to play nice with the majority of audio, video, image and text files. Hailing from South Korea, it is tipped to run for up to 55 hours on a full charge, but that might be very different in real life situations. This seems to be a device that will target cute girls, but definitely not one who is into goth and grunge, of course. One thing we won’t be using this though would be to watch video – at 2.6″, it would be pure torture, so don’t say that we didn’t warn you!
