Remember when we reported yesterday about Samsung releasing the new Galaxy Tab advert, and how we mentioned that the lack of a WiFi-only option were keeping a lot of people from purchasing it? Well it looks like some prayers have been answered. The folks over at Droid-Life managed to get their hands on a flyer announcing the arrival of a WiFi-only version of Samsung’s Android tablet. The flyer states that the tablet will be arriving on our retail shelves by April 4 and will only cost $399. A pretty sweet price, if it wasn’t for the fact that the tablet runs on Android 2.2 and that you can pay a bit more to get your hands on the brand new iPad 2. Not to mention, it won’t even be available next week – you would have to wait a full 3 weeks just to get it, and who knows what will be out or announced by then? Let’s hope Samsung learns from their mistake of releasing the 3G version with a mandatory contract at launch and give consumers some options with their next Galaxy Tab. Will you be picking up this $399 tablet when it arrives next month?
