When royalty married during the time of monarchs, lavish gifts were sent from one kingdom to another. These days, most countries have abolished the monarchy system and settled for a republic instead, but England still has a queen to boast of. The upcoming new royal couple, Prince William and Kate Middleton, will be getting married soon, and General Electric has decided to send over what they call “The Ultimate” royal wedding refrigerator. Measuring a whopping 5’9” long, it comes with a stunning picture of the royal couple when they got engaged. According to David Garden, Commercial Director for GE, they will be making this available to the masses as well, and hope that high sales figures will follow. We’re not too sure whether you would want to see this in your kitchen a good 10 years down the road, when the royal couple has aged gracefully.
