Samsung and HBO join forces to offer HBO GO
Samsung America has just announced that through a partnership with HBO, Samsung TV users will be able to enjoy over 1,400 different titles of HBO programming through the upcoming HBO GO app that will be released via Samsung Apps later this year. The app which will be available for free to existing HBO subscribers can be installed on Samsung Smart TVs and Blu-ray disc players that can support Samsung Apps. This opens up a whole collection of new video content for HBO subscribers to catch up on shows they missed with every single episode available from series such as The Sopranos, True Blood and Boardwalk Empire. HBO Documentary Films, HBO Sports and a whole selection of blockbuster theatricals will also be up for viewing through the HBO GO app. No exact dates have been announced, but when it is released you can expect a lot of Samsung TV/BRD player owners to be very happy.
