Samsung Galaxy S II appears on the FCC

The folks over at the FCC have taken a look at the recently unveiled Samsung Galaxy S II, where it is also better known as the GT-I9100 for those who are more keen on model numbers than names. Picking up FCC approval for GSM 850 and 1900 bands, WCDMA bands II and V, Bluetooth and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, you can be sure that the Galaxy S II is one puppy that will let you remain connected no matter where you are, with its GSM and WCDMA bands correspond to AT&T’s cellular and 3G data service Stateside at least – making AT&T a prime candidate to offer the handset when it arrives in this part of the world. Now, we await news on its release date, and with the FCC filing already done and over with, you can be sure that sooner is the keyword rather than later.
