Google has always held their own phones in high regard, with the Google Nexus One getting all of the Android updates first before other models, and the Nexus S is no different either, being the first handset to be powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread. There is a new handset from Google today, where it comes in the form of the Nexus S 4G which will be part of the Nexus line of devices that intends to deliver a pure Google experience while running the most updated Android releases and Google mobile apps. The hardware has been co-developed with Samsung in order to make sure everything is tightly integrated, where it will be able to surf on Sprint’s high-speed 4G data network effortlessly. Other features include a 4” Contour Display that feels perfect in your palm or on the side of your face, coupled with a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, front and rear facing cameras, 16GB of internal memory, and NFC (near field communication) hardware. Expect to pick up the Nexus S 4G from online and in-store sources later this spring.
