A hacker who had a mischevious streak in him paid for his misdemeanour, being sent over to the slammer for 1.5 years after placing pornography on a video billboard that is located right above Moscow’s inner ring road. Igor Blinnikov who is 40, pulled the prank on 14 January 2010 from his home computer in Novorossiysk, a city that is located around 1,225km (760 miles) south of Moscow. According to the shipyard fitter, he owned up to his act and described it as a “bad joke”, but that did not lighten up the jail sentence in any way. Earlier on, he had already been sentenced to four and a half years’ hard labour for trying to sell 13 grams of marijuana.
