Google helps you to automatically sort your email with Smart Labels
Google has just announced a new way for you to automatically sort out your Gmail account, with the use of Smart Labels. Gmail already has the option for you to create your own labels if you want to label your emails, but if you don’t, Smart Labels will do the job for you. It provides you with 3 new labels – Bulk, Forums and Notifications. Gmail can detect what sorts of emails are entering your inbox and labels them accordingly. Emails labeled Bulk are mass mail items such as newsletters and promotions, Notifications are account statements and receipts, while Forums are group mailing lists that you are subscribed to. If a message isn’t labeled correctly, you have options to label it correctly, and even inform Google so they can improve the Smart Label feature in the future. With the use of Smart Filters, Google hopes to help you keep an organized, uncluttered inbox where you can easily browse through the messages you need. Smart Labels is a function currently under testing at the moment, so if you’d like to enable it you would have to go to the Labs in Gmail and enable Smart Labels from there.
