Art takes on a modern look with Wi-Fi painting

To ‘paint’ using nothing but Wi-Fi connections? That doesn’t really make much sense, does it? Well, apparently things might be looking up in the alternative future of artwork thanks to this particular project that explores the invisible terrain of Wi-Fi networks in urban areas, relying on the use of light painting signal strength in long-exposure photographs. Thanks to a four-metre long measuring rod that has 80 points of light, that alone will reveal cross-sections via Wi-Fi networks courtesy of a photographic technique known as light-painting. Well, we are pretty sure that there isn’t much “talent” involved in composing any of such an image though, so don’t expect these to sell for a whole lot even after the pseudo-artist who composed a particular picture has passed on to the netherworld.
