Android Market pulls apps due to malware
The world is a dangerous place – be it in the virtual or real setting. Take the Android Market for example – Google has already pulled dozens of apps from the Android Market simply because the plague that is malware has already infected them in what some have deemed to be one of the worst to hit the mobile industry – a traditional safe haven from malware attacks when compared to other platforms like the desktop computer. Guess the openness of Android is a double-edged sword – it provides unprecedented freedom for developers, but also opens up the opportunity for those who have less than kind intentions to be devious in their dealings. Basically, all applications from developers known as “Kingmall2010″, “we20090202″, and “Myournet” will feature the DroidDream malware, and it is good to know that those have been pulled from the Android Market.
