The Samsung Galaxy S 4G was just made available for sale today and some of you must be wondering about what makes the phone tick. Well, maybe most of you don’t really care. But if you did, we’ve got some great news for you. The folks over at iFixit recently got their hands on the Samsung Galaxy 4G and have given it the standard teardown, taking it apart piece by piece, describing the process and every component used to make the phone run – so you don’t have to do the dirty work yourself. And for the first time ever they used fire to conduct an experiment to determine the material of the main structural plate inside the Galaxy S 4G. Turns out, it’s made from aluminum.
