Panasonic has just announced the prices for their LUMIX GF2 compact system camera. The LUMIX GF2 is Panasonic’s smallest and lightest interchangeable lens system camera with a built-in flash. In addition to being able to use lenses from the Micro Four Thirds standard, the LUMIX GF2 will support Panasonic’s new 3D interchangeable lens, the LUMIX G 12.5mm/F12 so that users can take their own 3D photos anywhere (of course you’ll need a 3D display to make use of such photos – but that’s another story). The LUMIX GF2 will be available for $499.95 (body only) when it drops in mid-February. Anybody interested in getting the GF2 when it arrives in stores?
