MSI first unveiled their Wind U270 notebook late last year, and also brought it with them over to Las Vegas for CES 2011 last month. Well, at long last, the company decided to make it official by rolling out a press release, so here are some of the more detailed specifications if you’re interested in purchasing a new notebook. Instead of the 11.6″ display that is a staple size for most notebooks these days, the U270 comes with 12.1″ of viewing goodness at 1366 x 768 resolution, alongside other specifications that you can view in the extended post. Shame that only one USB 3.0 is thrown into the mix, more would have been better to keep up with the times. Still, we await official word on pricing and availability, so stay tuned!
