Motorola Xoom receives the teardown treatment
The highly-anticipated Honeycomb tablet from Motorola was released only yesterday, and already the folks at iFixit have gotten their hands on it and given it the regular tear down treatment that they’re known for. From their findings, they discovered that the Android 3.0 tablet that is due for a 4G LTE update sometime this year was designed to make the upgrade as simple as possible – it would take users 10 minutes or less to complete the upgrade. Good move on Motorola’s part to make the upgrade process as easy as possible, now Motorola Xoom owners can rest contentedly knowing that getting 4G on the device won’t be a chore.
