HTC’s debut tablet, the HTC Flyer is has found its way online to Amazon Germany’s online store and has been given a price tag. The Android tablet will cost you 699 Euros ($904) which is pretty pricey after a direct conversion. Chances are it won’t be that price when it hits our shores – especially with carrier subsidies and so on, but for a tablet that is running on a single core processor, packing only a 7″ screen and doesn’t run on Honeycomb (Android 3.0 – this tablet runs on Android 2.4), it’s going to be a tough sell. But maybe the whole HTC Sense experience, coupled with HTC Scribe and the OnLive gaming service might be enough to convince buyers. Then again, just by topping up a couple of hundred customers can experience Honeycomb on the Motorola Xoom. I guess we’ll have to see how this one plays out. Would you pay $904 for the HTC Flyer?
