[MWC] After being revealed one year ago to the world at the very same event, HTC has decided to show off the successor to the HTC Desire. Called the HTC Desire S, it takes cues from the HTC Legend’s design and is sculpted out of a single block of aluminum. It packs Qualcomm’s new 1GHz Snapdragon MSM8255 processor to ensure your phone speeds along, and has a 3.7″ (800 x 480) touchscreen display. It packs a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. The good news is that it will ship with Gingerbread (Android 2.4), so you won’t have to worry about not having the latest version of the operating system (at least for awhile) when it launches in Q2 this year.
